I bought an I lip from someone on here, when I got it on I decided that it wasn't low or aggressive enough so I took a trip to strictly german to find another one. While I was browsing his lot I found an e28 with a nice wing, it had been rear ended so the spoiler was a little tweaked but once I got it home and bolted down it straightened up pretty well. I then spray painted my trunk and the spoiler (I know, ghetto, but better than primer). I also gave it a quick wash after I installed the parts. I can't wait for my ACS wheels to come in.
Did a lot of work to the car today.

not bad looking at all even with the bcaps. What size Schnitzers are you getting? -
I am getting 16 x 7 front, 16 x 7.5 rear. They are currently in transit to ACNico, and then they will be on my way so possibly up to another month before I get them on.Originally posted by Court M3What size Schnitzers are you getting?
The IS lip would look a little better but I only paid $40 for both I lips. In the sencond picture the car wasn't dry so the water accentuated the gap between the lips. I am happy with the double I lips especially for $40.Originally posted by King Luisit does look good.
but that double i lip should be swapped out for a is lip.sigpicComment

Does the e28 wing really just bolt up to an e30 qithout problems? Because it looks awesome assuming the dimensions are correct. Looks like an mtech...(I'm going to feel like an idiot if I find out they are the same wing)sigpic

It doesn't bolt right up, but it is not difficult to make it work at all. There are six bolts that hold it down, the inner four happen to work out fine. Just drill your holes and tighten down. The outer two you will have to drill a big enough hole in the underside of the trunk to be able to access the spoilers bolt with a ratchet.sigpicComment

So the stock e30 spoilers use only 4 bolts? How do they work, are there studs coming out of the bottom? Would it be possible to remove the two outer studs and just bolt it down with 4 or would that pose an unforseen problem?
Thanks for the pic by the way. This is very tempting to do...sigpic

I don't know, my car didn't have a spoiler. I had to drill all 6 holes. Yes the studs are coming out of the bottom of the spoiler, the four inner bolts are accessible through the large factory holes like you see in the pic. I wouldn't use four, it would probably stick up on the ends. If you have a drill and a little time to get the holes in the right place, it is not difficult.sigpicComment

Im gonna need to know some of this when my Mtech 1 wing comes from Germany. My eta has no holes at all. Grazie.
