Remus Vs IE

I measure the width of the pipes for those interested


Circumference of the IE or stock muffler. The remus is about 4 smaller.





Do ya'll think it sits kinda low?



Fitment was perfect.



Compared to the IE unit, the tailpipes stick out a little more.


I had to make some modifications to the brackets to fit the smaller remus muffler

The Remus looks better, but I personally would be more concerned with the sound - pick whatever sounds the best.

Oh, and post more pictures of that car!

looks good man... it hangs a little low but doesnt look bad

The Remus looks so good on there, I had a Remus on my e36, it sounded better and better as it got older but it weighed a ton.

heres somemore measurements I took.








I'm gonna have the shop readjust it this week so that the pipes come out snugly against the bumper cutout. Should look sweet. Thanks for the compliments.

which sounds better? The IE piece looks really nice too. Remus is really big here in germany, so I would imagine the quality of fitment should be good. hell, minivans here in germany have remus mufflers even on them here. but the remus mufflers here are always really quiet.

I say the remus is louder at idle. I can't really tell the difference under acceleration, but the remus is fuller sounding, more throaty I guess.
