Well as stated, i have an 84 318i, got it for $840 about 9 months ago and it is just now starting to run like shit. Got an engine for and im gonna swap it in, i know any purist on here is gonna hate me for it so just stop reading now. Dont bother saying why not a bmw engine? Anyways got an sr20det s13 blacktop thats going in here, in the process of tearing down and rebuilding the engine, but heres some pics....
First night i had it
Second day i had it, Shitty maaco paintjob which had sap all over and looked like piss
Sorry for any crap quality photos, but so far i lowered it on st springs wasnt low enough so my buddy and i cut the coils....(stupid move, already know that) it has sparco 1pc seats in it, got them off a friend for doin work for him, and small maintenance things here and there.
Plans are. Get a decent set of coilovers, possibly megan still unsure about them, strip everything out of the car, replace all the floor pans cause they are rusty as shit, brand new carpet back in, recover all beige panels in suede w/ red+blue stitching, sr20det mildly built somewhere in the ball park of 300whp ~300wtq, cut and tub the rear due to rust and fitment for wider tires without gawdy offset (-10 or more) evo stly body kit, no widebody fenders cuase to me they look like ass on non m3 cars, cage w/5pt harness lots of chassis bracing and a 3.73 medeium case lsd and more to be added once i get to that stage
