Undr8d Empire's Coverage of Shift S3ctor's Airstrip Attack 3 at Coalinga Airport, CA

Hi Everyone,

So I meant to post this earlier this week, but I've been to busy. Either way, on the weekend of April 6th and 7th, Shift S3ctor threw yet another amazing event for automotive enthusiasts - their Airstrip Attack. This event is a 1/2 mile roll racing event, that brings out some of the most powerful cars in the country. As always a great time with the Shift S3ctor crew, which feels more like a family then just a group of acquaintances. I got in late Friday night, as I couldn't take any time off of work to go with the large caravan from LA. Nevertheless, I knew I was amongst friends when I showed up to the Best Western parking lot in Kettleman City, CA and saw a familiar group of amazing cars.

If you haven't heard of Shift S3ctor, you should definitely check them out. From HPDE track days, to the Global Time Attack Pro Am series, and of course 1/2 mile roll racing, you won't find a better organization for your automotive thrills.

My E39 touring looked a bit out of place in comparison into some of the cars that were there, but I still wanted to give Tomek some love.



Mike's awesome 700+whp HPF stage 2.5 E46 M3. Got a ride in this beast that weekend, and his M3 is VERY impressive!



Travis' 480whp Terminator Cobra



A few impressive Vishnu & FFTec 335s getting some rest before their big day on Saturday.





A few AMGs were in the group of Bavarians as well.



Nick's C63 AMG, love this car!





Stefanie's awesome ZR1



Even though it's more of a track junky, a GT3 owner decided to show up for the weekend's festivities.





Oh and then this guy showed up....

My uncle was in this with his freshly built 700hp supra (more power coming soon) I've seen videos of it pretty cool stuff amazing cars and a long stretch of Tarmac I bet it was tons of fun. Maybe next time ill ask to tag along

So I had time to go back and darken all the pics. Still not happy with how the pics look on certain screens due to brightness and color settings, but these will have to do.

As usual, there was a plethora of amazing cars at yet another successful Shift S3ctor Event. The Airstrip Attack event has grown so much in popularity that both days sold out well before the event, and it also brought out some of the fastest cars in the US!

This was a 2 day event, we (Castro Motorsport) didn't run our E30 till Sunday.

Anyway, enough blabbing and onto the car porn!

Saturday definitely brought out some bigger names then Sunday, but both days had equally impressive cars! We'll start with all the awesome Benzes that showed up:

Jason's CLK63 AMG Black series got a lot of love from my camera, it photographs so well!







Sharek's awesome Weistec Twin Turbo CLS63 AMG, was also another crowd favorite as usual. 680whp/816wtq!






Loved the color of this CLS!




Weistec Engineering showed up with some very impressive AMGs of their own:














Bryce's 700+ whp Kenne Bell Supercharged SRT8 300C was my favorite car there. This thing is a beast!









He also managed to win a trophy that day!





Drew's 700hp, built motor ESS Stage 3 DCT E92 M3 was impressive as usual.







The event should've been called GTR fest with all the ones that showed up, but I didn't really take too many pics of them because I was more interested in the other cars there, lol





The weather was absolutely perfect on Saturday, too bad I forgot my sun screen, lol










So a few exotics and super cars showed up to play












Armik's 1250whp Heffner Twin Turbo Ford GT never gets old








BBI brought some very fast Porsches out!








A 480whp turbo Integra was a crowd shocker




As was this 750hp 2JZ swapped Z with NOS!





As always Shift S3ctor events are a very fun and laid back environment, I love all my Shift S3ctor buddies!
















A few Vettes came to show everyone what the mighty LSX can do!












Oh and then a Viper showed up



These 2 wheelers really caused a Ruckus in the parking lot!



Most people came stocked with race gas, like this ESS supercharged E92 M3



On Sunday we (Castro Motorsport) brought our S50 swapped turbo E30 race car for some fun:
