    Introducing my '90 schwarz 325is

This is my E30. I picked it up last June and I can't get enough of its character and personality. I have been slowly getting things done on it. I don't have much time or money to put into it yet, and also I have no idea what the hell I'm doing mechanically, so for now it's all minor work to keep it on the road until I'm back out of school.

Sorry for the poor photo quality...

The car doesn't really need much- it sees lots of B-road action and short road trips to Montreal or Toronto and has been perfectly reliable.

In the short term I'm dealing with some rust spots on the rocker & doors, and having a look at the car's thermostat & cooling system because the temp has a tendency to "jump" suddenly. Eventually I'm planning to get a 3.73 LSD (currently have an open 4.10), fix the instrument cluster, get a period-correct stereo head unit, get a less annoying muffler than the current badly-fitted one, fix the sunroof, and maybe some 15" or 16" wheels depending on what kind of deals turn up. In the long run I'm considering a twin cam- S52 or M52 depending on how much I plan on daily driving it.

Thanks, r3v, for the inspiration so far and for the help I'm sure to ask for in the future.

    Nice ride.

    Is that GTV6 also yours?

Nah- just something I encountered on a Sunday drive last summer. Stopped by to talk to the dude.

Nice, a good friend of mine owns a red '84 GTV6 and it's a hoot to drive.
