1989 325i How it came to be

This is how I bought the car, but it did not have to wheels or front lip.

Fast forward some months. I got tired of the color and started to do some painting.
One late night as I was coming home hit a rock in the middle of the road and cracked a rim :[
I put on a new lip as well and little additions.

A friend let me borrow his hood bra for a little.

Then I picked up some new wheels.

Finally got bored of the mismatch colors and painted it all.

Looking nice and clean with some photo effects. Installed S2000 seats as well.

Then winter came. Long story short played in the snow and hit some ice and smacked a curb.
Exploded the oil pan and broke the oil pump.
Took out the motor and checked out the damage.

Motor back in, installed new bearings, oil pump, and new pan. I rocked no hood a week or so. First time I took an engine out and took one apart.
I had to show it off :]

All cleaned up and running good as new.

Now this was a night I will not forget. My buddy was moving out and he had some land we can mess around on. Turned into a figure 8 with a bonfire happening while a RX-7, E30, and a Toyota pickup drifted around the fire and people sitting around it.
It was so much fun wish I had pictures of that night. Here is the aftermath not too bad. I hit some brush, tree branches and some chairs.

This was the last time being the cleanest it will ever be.

Went to my 4th drift event and all was well until the one last turn. I was not that great while drifting behind someone else yet. The guy in front spun out and I slid into his front bumper. He was in an E30. His car was the lucky one.

Life went on kept driving it. I would always get stared at while driving down the road. I purchased some new wheels

Final drift event I attended to for the season. We had to go out with a bang. All painted the cars the same color. My bro's RX-7. Friends 240sx

Took a trip to NYC with a buddy. It was actually fun driving around the city. I got to slide a few turns had a crazy black guy come up to us talking about my car.
He asked how many miles were on it and I said "over 200k miles" His response was hilarious. I wish I had it recorded. Basically said :woowoo:

Found these bad boy wheels not sure the name of them though.

My bro woke me up one afternoon, he had come back from the bar with his friend and said he wanted to try and blow up his motor by doing a burnout in the driveway. I had just woke up and walked out side, let the bimmer warm up, and started to do a burnout.
My bro was hitting rev limit pretty much the entire time shooting flames. Only his tires popped and so did mine.

I made a over panel I guess you can say. Turned out okay, besides the molding area, but the metal was from an old door I had removed the skin off of it. The top body line was what I cared about.

I modified a pair of 86 Corolla side skirts to fit on. It fits the look I am going for and this is how the car sits as of now.

Another shot of it. My bike and bro's RX-7. He got smacked by another car while drifting decided to retire the car. He picked up a Turbo 2 motor and a FC vert with mint black paint.

I was scared at first, then I got more scared, then everything got real ratchet and I became happy.

Btw, what kind of of ae86 skirts are those, and did you have to shorten them or anything?

      Go here be happy!

It definitely is man. Next thing is paint and deciding what to do motor wise for more power. I started collecting turbo parts for it and bought a MS2 ecu.
I'm probably going to keep it N/A save up and party it up this year. Yeah that :drink:sounds good too me haha:drink:

Haha I am very happy the way it turned out too. The skirts are duraflex cost $200 shipped.
I had to extend them 6 inches. First time working with fiberglass turned out pretty good. They can be better, but the imperfections goes along with the rest of the machine.

I used about 4 cans of Valspar Satin Oregano.
Valspar has wide spray nozzles, it helps with making the paint even I think.

I have been thinking about getting summit racing paint and using a gun see how well it will turn out.

Yes, I like to joke and make people believe they are TE37's. I get some people which is funny. Rim size: 15" x 8", 0 offset. Tire size: 185/60. The front needed 10mm spacers to clear the calipers.

                          Haha, waffles. Now I'm hungry.

But seriously, drifting around a campfire with people sitting right there? Late night burnouts while drunk? R3vving into a snowbank?

Show that poor car some respect.

Ive definitely had my fun in this. I wish it stayed pretty the whole time, but it still runs and handles amazing.

It was a pretty big fire and yeah why the hell not man. It was about 1pm when the burnouts happened. I plan on giving it a nice coat of paint, but it still wont be the same if I never wrecked it.

I wouldn't mind a silvia, but there is only 240sx. I didn't want to trash this it had potential when I first got it.
Then I got into drifting and it is my first rwd car.
