SM is a tough category to run in with an E30 if you're trying to be competitive. I'm in SM because of my 2.8 M20 stroker. At my local auto-x I consistently run within the top 5 fastest raw times of the event but always end up placing somewhere between 7th to 12th overall after PAX lol. So now all I care about is raw time... if I'm beating E46 M3s and GT-Rs on raw time then I'm happy.

I used to run my e36 in STS, and found I was decently competetive. I switched to a Lotus in ASP and was getting my ass handed to me left and right. I just don't want this to end up being a dedicated track car.

I plan on making a build thread to keep myself motivated. It's gonna have to be on hold for a bit as the wife's Mini killed it's transmission this morning. She's taken over the e39 touring and the e30 is pulling daily duty for now.
