My 89, what I learned in 2 years on R3v.

Quick story 2 years ago my wife agreed to let me pick up an E30, which is when I joined and started my search. I managed to find an 89 325i 5spd from the original owner in bumpkinville NC. To be honest at the time I didn't even own a tool set and had extremely limited experience working on cars.

I was/ am amazed by the support of the E30 community, because 2 weeks after getting the car home I met a member who offered to help with TB/ WP/ Valve adjustment. etc. I have since of course bought a tool set and spent more than I care to think about it, but for the first time I feel comfortable leaving home with out my entire set. (My rear is consequently an 1inch + higher now though.)

Anyway onto the pics, Im still learning how to use the camera but will update with better shots.

Clean car, looks good. Chrome kidneys and a Tech I wheel would complete it.

Thanks guys, I guess I should have posted a before and after pics. Even though I bought this from the original owner, it has taken me the last 2 years to looking this way.

I have been looking for a tech II wheel, but I want the smaller one and all I keep seeing is 385mm. Saw one 370, but not for $750 from shady-eastern Europe.

No, in the rear I went kustom with a fleece blanket.:D
The cloth near the parcel shelf burned away by the sun. Its on my todo list.
