    My E30s

Hi guys... looks like I've finally managed to sign up here. Some of you might know me from the r3v FB-Group or from Bimmerforums [denyo77, for some reason I couldn't sign up using this SN here]. I'm 24, a German native and live and study in the south-west of the "motherland".

My love for E30s started early with the '85 318i and later the cirrusblue '87 320i my dad had when I was just a baby. Later on my brother got 2 E30s and when I got my license, my first car was a 1988 325i Touring in lachssilber (salmon silver). Lowered it on Eibach Pro's, swapped the EH Automatic to a 5-Speed when the gearbox failed, got a set of 15" weaves for it etc. My dad and I retrofitted power windows, OBC II and a couple other things. I drove it until it hit 145k miles and the clutch failed. It's since been sitting serving as a donor car.

A couple years later, in 2010, I also bought a 320i auto sedan (lachssilber as well) with 99k miles. The car was bare bone model (no equipment besides the passenger mirror and the sunroof), so we retrofitted matching cloth sport seats, I put in an M-tech 2 wheel I got new from BMW, put in the factory tweeters, switched the rear axle to discs, and did a whole lot of maintenance as the car had been sitting for 4 years previously. The engine gave me many problems and in the process, everything in the ignition and cooling system plus the braking system and suspension has been replaced. I then put it on my 15" BBS and drove it for a bit. It has 105k miles as it sits today.

    doing some winter drifting:

    When I got it:

And then the same month I also bought my 5-speed 325i Cabrio in lagunengrün (lagoon green) on grey Überkaro cloth. It has Mim 1900 wheels, has been lowered on Powertech suspension and 77k miles as of today.

Together with my friend's 320i Touring:

And last but not least this is my brother's 87 325e which we're rebuilding atm:

I attend lots of meets in Germany, especially e30-related, so there's probably gonna be a big picture thread coming... so far this is my intro. Thanks for reading,

    Vokuhila aka denyo77.

Beautiful cars. I can't wait to see more pictures! I have to ask, why give up on the lachs touring after the failed clutch?

Nice 1st post! Cabby is the best. The rims are in harmony with the car.
