If you've driven on the Costa Rican roads low is a no no. Huecos. Welcome and nice car.

I have a friend who grew up and lived in monteverde until he was like 16 then he moved here. But where he lives is just shitty roads and going low would be a stupid idea, is that true?

                    Thanks Cyrman!

@diegom6, I didn't buy the rims, the rims are 120x5 the rims have spacers to fit on the car, but that damage one of the covers of the iX trim in the rear right.

@Zreberlcoe The roads are a complete crap :S in that place, like 1 month ago some people made a protest march to fix the roads :S

                    @claysones @mitch500 thanks

@NVfive33i Alex sold me my other E30 also, I lost the car in a crash. I bought this other one because I was searching a E30 with good body no rust. I saw the 325 like a couple of months ago, contacted him and made the deal.

I guess the car has the differential from a 325iS, but I have all the parts from my other car to make the swap.

iX has two differentials. Front and rear. Unless both are same gear ratio the viscous coupling in the transfer case will fail.

Well... I started the desassembly of the car the at 06/28/2013. In the photos the interior for example looks good but face to face was very damage.

Well the photos from the beginning:

                              Dash in good condition

                              But..

The headliner with a lot of stains and the sunroof didnt work

Pop-up windows, apparently they are hard to see in Costa Rica

                              And the skibag lol

                                Removing all the entire dash:

                                Seats and carpet...

Rust... EVERYWHERE!!! and yes:hitler: the car was Alpineweiss II...

At the beginning I had like 3 holes, I made a fast fix with a special tape to stop water drops in metal roofs, I solved the problem with new metal later.

Electric system looks well no cuts,

Core heater seal totally destroyed... haha

Fixing the thing, removing that was a PITA, I read here that some people used some weatherstripping to fix that haha.

                                Assembling all the thing again.
