Here's a few of mine.. Just finished the 3m matte silver,, did it myself, came out ok.. Probably wouldn't recommend it for a daily driver.. If you do, paint the front bumper.. Rocks chop vinyl real easy lol

That doesn't sound right, my A4 was vinyl'd for 2 years, did it myself, and there was not a single imperfection in the vinyl except from tire to fender contact.
What bran Vinyl did you use?

3m 1080... It's possible the coating on the valence messed it up possibly giving it way to give or something, as I didn't strip it down to metal.. The rocks have torn it up though :(
