Hi guys and girls if any...

Referred from a friend. Been around reading up and getting useful info prior to my purchase. Love this forum, the sarcasm, the beef, and useful info members post. I go thru cars almost every 18 months so hopefully I can hold on to my car longer than that.

I have a 88 325i convertible. Never wrenched on cars myself but after picking up a bentley manual and some tools I been pretty happy with what I've done so far. Purchased car with rebuilt head and refurbished transmission. Its a AT. Got sick of driving manual in traffic plus wifey wanted to drive the car too. Here's a list of things Ive done.

    Replaced springs and shocks
    Sway bar links
    Front control arms
    FPR
    Fuel Pump
    Fuel filter
    Spark plugs
    Cleaned injectors
    Changed rear diff fluid
    Cleaned ICV
    Rotors
    Brakes
    02 sensor
    Air filter
    Valve adjustment
Rust removal under the battery tray

All I need now is a new paint job.

Thanks guys... Yea the car has touch up paint on almost every part of the car. I think the owner had his car keyed up pretty bad. Not to mention somewhere around 25 dings and dents. Its killing me right now

            Tires are 205/50/15

They are esm 002 I believe.... bbs rs reps. Would I be able to paint without removing the tires. The step lip is polished so it would only need to be the center.

                        Ducati StreetFighter, Yummy.

How do you like the car compared to your past cars? It's so much fun to drive isn't it? I like to hear what new owners think of the E30 chassis.

Any other plans other than the paint job?

I think either Euro Bumpers or maybe an ES or IS front valance would be nice if you keep the diving boards.

Thanks for sharing your ride, it's beautiful.

Love the car. Drives great, a lil underpowered from my previous cars however handling is great and just sitting behind the wheel of a soon to be classic is a feeling that cant be described. Car definitely gets attention and not the wrong kind. When I drive it girls love it and when my girl drives it she's getting hit on lol.
