New owner of an e30 325is (Pic Heavy)

what's up everyone my bad for posting up in the wrong thread i meant to go in the project forum. i recently bought a e30 325is after four years of waiting for what i really don't know but the wait was to long. long story short i came across this one for a good deal. i couldn't let any more e30's pass me by and this one i just fell in love with, i saw potential. this is my little journey since i picked her up on June 2 2013.

    when i bought the car:
    17" chrome wheel- nasty
cracked rear bumper trim and bumper cover
    metal covering door mouldings
holes cut into fenders for vents-lame on an e30
some circular shell on top of the car- never knew what it as for
    trunk with many drill holes
horrible black paint that led to layers and layers of paint and body filler when i started sanding :(

    in the past 2 months:
    original 14x6.5 bbs wheels
    new falken ziex
new rear bumper cover- from ecs tuning
euro trim kit- still waiting to come in
door mouldings and fender mouldings- on the way
    two new fenders
sanded down the whole car plus interior door panels- in paint as im typing this getting a new color of 138- zinnoberrot/ cinabar red
    new window louvers
    new front windshield
new drivers door window- was shattered when i bought it
    new ignition switch
is front lip- ordering this week
    used trunk lid

pics from after the paint will come Tue-Wed.

after two months i have brought my e30 back up to original status.

i get the car back mid-next week so im anvious to see how everyting turns out yet im so stoked.

im glad to finally be a member of r3vlimited!!!

How long did it take you to sand it down?

took me 10 days and thats with 40+ hours of sanding, there was to much body filler for my mind to handle

                            Grants on the iS!

I know I have no regrets picking up my iS. It is the only e30 I've picked up that blows all others out of the water. Enjoy it!

                            It's hard not to
