I think it would work well on your car in lieu of the chrome vanity plate.
I'll have to look into that.

Thanks, the car really doesn't need a whole lot. I plan on doing a few small things to it. I've already replaced the seal that goes across the windshield because it was leaking. I also replaced the inner door handle surround since it was broken.

I think Im going to get them mounted up this weekend. On another note the paint on the car needs quite a bit of love. I think the PO washed the car with a broom. Here is just a little area I did a test on.

          lots of swirls

I first clayed a small area, then I used a Dewalt variable speed polisher, a buff and shine cutting pad, and a swirl removing pad. I used Farecla brand cutting compound, with Farecla Swirl remover.

There isn't much left here either, I just need to be careful.

YOU TOOK MY IDEA! I shit you not I have been searching for some 15" IX basketweaves to do the same exact thing. What did you use to match the paint? Actual Calypsorot?

Yep, I got the color code from the engine bay, and sprayed PPG aqua base. The color seems to match really well.

Haha your tires do look kind of huge, but it looks great none-the-less! It actually looks very OEM in my opinion, the lip and center cap add the right amount of balance.

I like really like the way it looks, especially compared to the bottlecap wheels.

My paint looks good from about 10ft any closer and you start seeing stuff. I plan on doing a paint correction which will hopefully fix a lot of stuff. I just got done claying the car. If I have time later today It will get a cut and buff.
