Yo man, someone on instagram featured your car.. and i was checking it out the other night. Sweet car! i love it!
I wanted to ask you about the coils. How are they ride wise? does the car still handle well being as low as your are?? Did you shorten them any bit, or just cut it off at the spindle and weld these on? I love how low you are, and i wanna be there but deciding what i should run as my set up.

They are BC extreme low kit (make sure to ask for these), they ride very well. Yes the car handles beautifully even at this ride height (a couple swerves to avoid road kill last minute, and it takes it nicely). Cut the spindle and welded.

Ok. And you didn't leave any of the old strut housing on? Right. Just welded to spindle?
Good to know, I'll be looking forward to getting a pair.

I left about 0.5" on. Definitely would not recommend taking it all off as you need a flange of sorts to line the new system up. I did have to Dremel out a very slight amount to make them slide over the resulting "flange" though. Very slight. Wonder if anyone else has had to do this?

Why'd you only leave half an inch? It slides over it anyways.. Half an inch just seems sketchy.

Why would you need more? It's just for centering the new strut, and you don't want to bottom it out on too much leftover material. I think the install diagrams showed only 5mm anyway.

I think it may have called for 25mm, but either way I'm not even close to being maxed out in the front so not too worried.

Looks great. Wish I could get away with that kind of fitment and drop here in Montucky.
