Even with another 20mm of tread width? Not saying you're wrong, just that its a big jump in width...

I found the worst form of aquaplaning is on freeways when doing 100km/h (around 60mph), hit standing water and the car wants to glide off into the sunset... That's the aquaplaning I was referring to...

Do you have a point Pasha?

Read what I just posted here, and you qouted.

I've noticed no difference in my turning radius/lock to lock range with the 8.5's up front as compared to the 7.5's I had before. The both rub in the same spot, at the same amount of turn in.

Either way its still more then enough to do whatever I ever do, anyone for that matter. Just need rack stops to stop the tire a mm or 2 from he body.

I'll let you know next time I'm on the highway in the rain, but even at highway speeds in excess of 80MPH in pouring down rain I didn't have an issue before. I don't see why I would have that much more of an issue now. I am well aware of the increased chance of hydroplaning, and its up to the driver to be mindful and attentive of the road in front/beneath him eh?

Dan, I've already stated that was my plan. I've installed numerous TMS rack stops kits at Terry's...
