    320i '84 Bahamabeige M. M50 swap

After I crashed my first e30 and my big love, I had to get another weekend ride.
I found this one in the Netherlands and fell in love with the colour.

    She came with:

    S280A BMW LM RAD/SPEICHENSTYLING BMW LA wheel-spoke 176
S300A ZENTRALVERRIEGELUNG ELEKTRISCH Central locking with antitheft system
    S311 ELEKTRISCHER BEIFAHRERSPIEGEL
S320A MODELLSCHRIFTZUG ENTFALL Deleted, model lettering
    S351 WAERMESCHUTZGLAS BRAUN, RUNDUM
    S400A SCHIEBE-HEBEDACH, MECHANISCH Slide/tilt sunroof, manual
    S520A NEBELSCHEINWERFER Fog lights
S664A BMW BAVARIA CR ELECTRONIC Radio BMW Reverse RDS
S680A RADIOANTENNE MANUELL Radio antenna, manual
    S690A CASSETTENHALTERUNG Cassette holder

    - Servo steering
    - Pre facelift trunk wing
    - Remote for central locking
    - Aftermarket power windows in front (to be removed)
    - Tow bar
    - LPG installation (removed)
    - Recaro driver's seat (removed)
    - Original radio (added)
    - Rare Nardi Blackline 365mm steering wheel (added)

The plan with this one is to make it a sleeper. Good suspension, tweaked M50, 15 inch BBS and that's it. No respray, only rust treatment.

I have al the parts for the M50 conversion, but it's currently on hold because of a leaking head gasket / cracked head

FINALLY! I owned a bahamabeige e30 and I couldn't find anybody else that owned one. Mine was a POS but yours looks amazing. Definitely a rare color.

I don't think mine was a grey market import, either way it's a cool odd color.

my friend just sold his bahamabeige 318i this last weekend. The thing would have been an awesome swap car. Too bad I didn't have money to buy it from him...

                      Thanks!
As I said, I completely fell for the color. :) I just love the beige e30s. There's one other beige that's even better then bahama for me and that's safaribeige. Bahama was only available for 2 years.

The car isn't completely rust free but it's a very good basis. Last week I also managed to source the exact right front panel below the bumper (we call it a stonecatcher) because mine has a dent. Those things are almost impossible to locate for 83-85 e30s which we call pre-pre-facelifts. Seeing the picture above I think the US spec is smaller because of the thick bumper. In Euro cars the foglights are fitted into this panel rather then onto.

Sidemarkers are a pretty cool option to have here btw. :)
