Stopped by my friend's house. Picked him up to head over to Guten Parts. He has 2 E30s. The black car is a 325is and the green car is a rare euro 318 with no options. No power steering, radio, AC. Has factory knockout plates in the dash. It has an S50 swap.

    Our buddy Alex followed.

Levent helped me figure out what else was missing. Left there with a box of plastic clips, pigtails for euro lights and ordered new center console pieces. A bunch of other small parts I'm forgetting that Levent just had on the shelves. Guten Parts is awesome.

Something else I'm trying to figure out is this front bumper alignment. This is the original front bumper so I know the car hasn't been hit. I've read that some front bumper mounts were manufactured incorrectly, so I might have to cut and weld these to push the bumper in. For now it's fine and I'll fill the gap with a one piece Evo gasket.

    Disappointment #1:

Bought these smileys from a member on R3V.

    The low beams look okay

But the highs are really badly pitted. They look worse in person. Seller dropped off the face of the earth so I guess I'm stuck with these.

Also scored this clean set of euro grills on S14 and got a new replacement M3 badge from Turner. The badge has 2 pins on the back and have to be bent around the plastic grill.

    Euro grills > American grills

Finally, been searching for a set of M3 front strut housings but they are incredibly rare and expensive. Sets have been selling for over $1500 for just the housings. I really am opposed to chopping up my original housings for coilovers.

There's no accident history, so from what we know about the car that fender was damaged in shipping or at the dealer before its initial sale. The car came with some dealer option M color stripes that were still on the car and evenly faded all around when the PO had the entire car repainted. So yes it's a DOT-R fender but from what can tell, it's not due to accident damage of any kind. Car is straight as an arrow underneath.

I ordered this M-tech 2 before I even picked up the car. The original M-tech 1 has seen better days.

    Thanks guys

Started taking pics of anything that needed replacing. Sent these pics to Levent at Guten Parts so we could start looking for replacements.

The original center console has the cassette holder and this Blaupunkt remote attached. Under the remote there are some holes drilled, so need a new console.

    WTF battery tie down.

Missing this plastic nut for the tool tray cover.

    Missing hood cover pins.

Old / brown / cracked coolant and washer bottles. Missing harness cover.

Missing trim ring on driver's low beam.
