    New Ride!!!!

    Hey everyone,
I know its not an e30 but I just picked this up! 2005 Mini Cooper S with 1800 miles!!!!! Every option but leather and navigation. I can't wait to start upgrading the motor! I want to auto-X it too!

I bought it as a daily driver/commuter vehicle. I drive about 150-175 miles a day round trip to work so 30mpg sounds really good, plus its still a BMW deep down inside! To tell the truth I really was impressed with all the power it makes with the supercharger. It puts out about 168hp but with the john cooper works airbox and exhaust and upgraded ECU it will get to around 200 - 210hp. Really fun to drive too!

I'd skip the leather upgrade if you're going to Auto-X it.
Fun and capable cars. LSD upgrade is your best friend.

I lost my birkenstocks in the snow, and my flannel jacket is currently being used as a bed for the sheep.... otherwise I would go back to the barn.

did you get it with the JCW works package? because that is supposed to be pretty remarkable.

Nice cooper you got there. Great daily driver, very entertaining chassis.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

My father just got a Cooper S and loves it! It's funny to see a 250lb man get out of such a tiny car though.

you won't be making that kind of power.

with the whole JCW kit installed at the dealer: the upgraded supercharger, upgraded injectors, upgraded software, JCW intake and exhaust and cylinder head you'll be making that hp. the dealer i work for sells the kit for roughly six grand and charges quite a bit of time for labor(not sure how much exactly). with the intake, exhaust and software you won't be making that but you'll still have a very fun car to drive.
