    my first turbo build, calypso edition

    been on this forum for awhile and have yet to introduce myself.

    heres my 1990 325i calypsorot
    216,156
    bone stock, shot suspension, previous owner lived down the street from me. bugged him for at least 2 months before he sold it to me.



    in about a year and half ive done..

    -86 eta bottom end ( micropolihed and balanced crank, bearings, rings, honed to tolerance, oil relief valve, and everything else)
    -myster E head (hd rockers)
    -rebuilt garret/innovative GT35r
    -getrag 260; 11lb JBracing flywheel; spec 2 cluch;3.73 lsd
    -groundcontrol on bilstein; kyb's
    -megasquirt v3

    -houndsooth interior w/ sport seats
    rear ski pass w/ headrest

    here are some pic through out the process..

    myster E head w/ some adapters (was going to use the 524td mani) went with cx racing


    gc suspension with aluminum top hats.


    prior to the perches being removed


    after i dropped the motor in, went all motor for about a month to break it in.
    my brothers s13 fully rebuilt black top.. along some other goodies





    my daily driven 327i on 11lbs

      its been given alot of attention, still needs alot more too lol

      and yeah, on gc 450/650. chopped spring perches. shocks are almost maxed out though

                    i love it.. its not a harsh bumpy ride everywhere.

                    and no real dyno numbers.. and since im trying to tune it myself im not getting any further progress. but i would say somewhere around 270? on a cold night lol

                    saving up for a real dyno tho. (someoneshouldbuymywheels)

                            I use to have two calypsos in the drive way.. kinda gets boring

                              did you paint the bmw on the mudflaps? looks cool, think i might have to do that now!
