    New delphin owner

    Whats up r3v

After selling my 2004 corvette that I had for close to 6 years, I bought my friends 1990 325i about a month ago. He had owned it for 13 or so years and had taken very good care of it, doing all the work on the car himself. Long story short, here are a few things he had on the car...

Bilstein Sports with Eibach pro kit, IS lip, IS rear trunk spoiler, e28 obc conversion, tan IS seats taken from 91' 318ic, 3.46 dif, 15'' BBS CSI Series 32, Viper keyless entry/remote starter, epic stereo situation (see diagram and lol),and some other goodies I'm sure I'm missing.

I soon decided to follow my friend MFever, down the rebuild road. Here is the link to his rebuild for those who haven't seen it.

Sorry for the crappy photos I had initially taken of the car. Yes I know it looks like I took the photos with a calculator. I also lack interior shots, which will be taken when I get the car back from the body shop. I also included a spreadsheet of all the things I have bought for the car so far. I hope you guys enjoy it. I should have the car back soon and will upload more photos when I get her back.

I definitely agree on the rear decks. I wish he still had the roof rack, it was stolen a few months ago.

In regards to plans, there's only a few things I need to purchase and replace. When I get the car back, I'm going to replace the cracked dash with a perfect one I got off another friend as well as install the 318ti antenna. Then things like the radiator, oil cooler hoses, and of course the power steering hose need replacing. Also the muffler is rusted out so I'm looking into a magnaflow to replace it.

Nice! I find the premium sound decks at the junkyard in fair condition pretty often. So I'd try there. But I also did power steering delete and love it! Seems like a solid build and I wish I could have mine repainted I just went the plastidip route for $140 haha

I actually thought of taking the plastidip road as well but decided against it. Thanks for the heads up on the decks I will definitely keep my eye open for them.

Lol almost 200 views and we are having a 2 man convo.

Haha welcome to r3v. But I like how the plastidip came out on my car very impressed by it actually and super easy to clean! Except for my wheels. I dipped them white and they are a pain in my ass to clean so I always carry a microfiber simple green and a toothbrush wherever I go haha. Definitely gonna get those powder coated soon tho. Here's my sedan.
