Thanks guys, its been a lot of work. I spent nearly a week getting all the grease and dirt off the engine and transmission. It was horrible underneath after years of leaks.
I still have some stuff to fix. A steering rack and pulls side to side randomly despite an alignment and new components. Got a starter with a sticky solenoid. Stupid gauges have a mind of their own sometimes. Got a new uncracked dash to install. Windows barely work right now.
Pondering whether I want to fix the AC system or just park it in the 100 degree summers.Haven't you ever seen Russian Nesting Dolls? They work like that.
