MY other toy...went and came back like this

I had a Internationall Challenge of 4x4 , 4 days consecutive with camp included many miles from the city in the desert, well in the coast.

Third day climbing a hill I jumped off and when I landed the rear right shaft broke in two pieces. I guess after 19 years old and 3 reapiring ( bent three times) in the machine it gave up. I'm goign to order soem new forged ones.

The S/C had it's Aftercooler, but at last minute I decided to pull it out and run N.A. with pure stroker, since these competitios are ENDURANCE type and I want soemthign realiable.

I might sell this S/C Kit for a bimmer...we will see.

Here are soem shots of how it went out of the shopp and how it came. ( I landed in a hole of dune at almost 90 degrees, almost made a roll, was lucky, that's why the front part is fucked up, and the side/rear part was hitted by the doors of the big truck is was tomwing me fromt he cap int he middle of the dune due the broken shaft)

It's a 4.6L Stroker with forged Venolia Pistons as well. Yes, it's quick, but more than that, it's super torquey!

What rears do they use on those? The front looks the same, dana 44? Its been so long since I've been into the jeep thing. Tranny finally went in my 93 GC limited. I always wanted to use an ax-15 from a 93-94 4.0, but don't know if anyone would make a belhousing for a 5.2.

Too bad about the damage though. Easy to fix is the good thing.

Yes, it's a factory Dana 44 with custom reinforcement to prevent flex of it under heavy use/jumps. Front is Dana 30, reinfocerd as well, both with ARB's lockers and 4.11 gears.

I heared you can use the 5.2L with the AX-15 trans by using the V6 Dakota bellhousing, you only need to use the mechanical clutch or somethign like that.

Yes, pretty easy to fix it, in kinda cheap since we own the body shopp;)

well the stickers certaily can add some psicologic HP's...but not in the real life:p They are there because are sponsors, and many of them are obligatory.

I'd jump tall, but I don't have pic of it, perhaps just one, but it wasn't the biggest jump.

But here is a roll over from 3 years back.
