i appreciate the comments :)

as for the 3M products, I use the following:

6085 rubbing compound.

6064 to buff out the compound swirl marks.

6068 to get rid of any last swirls and holograms.

Last step is P21S concours caranuba wax.

The paint looks perfect, I've just been to lazy to take along my DSLR, the iphone pics don't really do the paint justice. I'm planning on doing an actual photo shoot of this car soon.
