    Back in an e30!

Finally. Ever since I sold my last e30 2 years ago I've been looking for another. This deal popped up and I decided to make a move and trade my e36 for it. It is a 1987 325e with 98,000 original miles. Originally an automatic and owned by an old lady. The previous owner did a 5 speed swap with a brand new clutch kit from bag auto. Previous owner did a TON of work. Lots of bushings and various other problematic areas have been replaced. Also has unknown lowering springs with Bilstein shocks. Longtube headers to straight pipe then an unknown brand muffler. Sounds pretty good, not too loud but also a good growl when you step on it. This thing is noooo where near where I want it to be though. Previous owner repainted it Alpine White, but did a shitty job. When we were bringing the car home on the trailer I happened to turn around and notice that the driver door had flown open -_- just my luck. Door was fucked but we were able to bang it out enough that it actually opens, been keeping my eye out for another. Also the car has diving boards, which I hate. They are tucked but hopefully I can do a plastic bumper swap eventually. Has bottle caps on it right now but I have two sets of wheels I'm trying to decide between. A set of throwing star reps in 4x100. They are 16x7.5 and looked really good on my last car and then a set of XXR 002 that the car came on. Not really a fan of XXR though so I'll probably end up selling them. Hope to do a 885 head swap and mild cam by summer and I NEED to find a new seat and rail soon. Being 6'1" its not fun being crammed into the steering wheel since the seat is broken and won't move back. Anyway enough of my rambling. Try to enjoy the pics lol, it is good to be back! Actually also forgot that I need to put some new high beams in the car. Previous owner took them out because he rigged up a CAI that goes into one of the headlight holes. I dont like the way it looks though so I need to find some.

Dont mind my stepdad in the pic lol

Yeah its gonna take a while to get it where I want but its worth it. Car has 0 rust on it which is really rare for a new england e30 especially Maine. It should definitely start coming together soon though. I don't really understand by he did the whole headlight thing, looks terrible in my opinion. if anybody has some cheap ones they wanna sell I'll take em!

Couple little updates. Been in Florida for a week and came back expecting the battery to be dead since its been close to 0, but she fired right up. Also a buddy of mine built a skidplate for it as well as fixing an oil pan crack. Looking for a new seat then after that will be timing belt, water pump, 885 head etc.
