Just scooped up my first e30 a few weeks ago. Been trolling on here for awhile so I figured I might as well register so I can try to by crap when I come across stuff that I want haha

1991 318i 5speed Brilliant Red. 220k and is by far the tightest e30 I have ever been in. H&R Sports and Unknown Bilsteins. The wheels in the pics were off the car and sold within a week haha. I already have a bunch of stuff in the making but I am just going to wait for the snow to melt and the salt to clear before I start going too crazy. Tips, suggestions, and all shit talking welcome here. :) Sorry for the cell phone pics but its all I got

I might actually ban you for having paint that bright.

What an amazing base to begin with, I am looking forward to your monthly newsletters.

so i got these wheels for the spring. I know it looks like a lifted Chevy truck right now but im on the hunt for some coilovers. They are ESMs 16x8 et 15 up front with 2" lips and 16x9 et 20 in the rear with 3" lips. All wrapped in yokohama s-drives. 205/45/16 front 215/40/16 out back. Should look pretty good when the wheel gaps diminish :)

Damn it. I really liked the car until you put those wheels on it.

Very nice base to start with. Not in love with the new wheels but to each his own. If you're gonna do low right, then go ahead and replace the other suspension bits and pieces too. You and the car will be much happier in the long run.

The front control arms and bushings are brand new for sure. Ill be digging deeper when i tear it all apart in spring for sure. what other components would you recommend replacing right away?
