All good, everyone has their own preferences. Concaved Volk TE37's are one of my favorite wheels of all time and knew I had to put them on this car before buying the car. I bought this car off a friend who I don't believe was very active on s14.

Thanks guys. I have a lot of plans for this car, but it seems like it will take some time for me to execute it all. I plan to build the car with a Japanese influence, which not everyone would agree to. That is my vision for this car and since it is my car, I will build it how I like. :)

No hard feelings, to each his own. The BBS wheels just aren't my style, and I feel it is a little too "cookie cutter."

Makes me want to grab my penis, scream, and jump up and down at the same time.

The te37's are actually growing on me.. I think they'd look pretty sweet in white instead of the bronze

Overall clean car. Curious to see where it goes with the Japanese influence

100% how I would build an m3 if I were financially able. If it were me, there is a lot of Studie AG influence, along with a lot of Tsukuba parking lot/paddock vibe.

I love the understated but unique look with hardest to reach back corner of the top shelf parts. Unique and one-off items are common with this theme. I truly hope you aim for smaller, lesser known makers instead of using the go-to brands the basic JDMfanbois buy from Autobacs. I think ARQRAY exhaust is an idea to look at too. I could go on for a long time, but I'll shut up and let you take over.

                    Thanks guys!!

Forgot I had these brakes. They are AP Racing brakes off a Circle track race car. Quite a bit crazier than off the shelf AP Racing kits. This project has really been on the back burner because I need to have brackets made. I first need to decide what rotors to use. I want to see if stock E46 M3 rotors will fit on the E30 M3 hub, since replacement rotors would be easy to obtain. Then I need to remove my knuckle/strut (or borrow one from someone if possible), and give that, a caliper and a rotor to my machine shop and have the brackets designed and CNC'd. I only plan to do the fronts though.

I ran a very similar setup on my old Civic using Brembo Monoblock calipers.

Looks nice, but i stand firm in the fact that TE37's don't work on everything... welcome.

                        The M3 is looking fantastic!

Is there a build thread for your old civic? It looks pretty serious.

The car was an ongoing 11 year project. In 2009 I decided to strip the car down, get the cage welded in and get the whole car repainted in side out. I also decided to sell all the parts I had and replace them with everything I always wanted. Here is the blog I setup to document the rebuild process (I apologize as it in is in reverse order):

The rebuild of my 1999 Honda Civic Hatchback. Updated with parts and progress of the car.

Here are some other features of the car from previous magazines:
