    Projecy Dysfunction Update

Over the last couple weeks ive thrown caution to the wind and decided to just start pulling the car apart.

The sunroof was FUBAR so i pulled the panel and removed the hardware and rails underneath. the panel is now just resting in its hole. I havent decided if i want to have it welded into a slicktop or try to souce new hardware for the manual sunroof. any thoughts?

I also pulled the airbox, throttlebody and upper intake manifold and ICV to check the hoses for vaccum leaks. replaced a couple which had electrical tape repairs but most of them actually seemed pretty new. I also hit the ICV with a liberal dose of carb cleaner, but i still cant tell if its functioning properly. it makes a buzz like its supposed to but its very faint, you have to hold it to your ear to hear it. Should i just get another one?

I took the opportunity to delete the throttle body heater plate. I just need some U shaped fitting to splice the two coolant hoses together. I also hit the AFM with some carb cleaner just in case there was some gunk in there.

The next steps will be to reassemble everything, and hopefully with all the new hoses, a new air boot, new spark plugs and general cleaning, i will FINALLY be able to get the car to start and idle for a little bit.

Then, on to the cooling system! Total cost so far is around $1500, with $1100 of that being the purchase price of the car. Please give me whatever feedback you guys have on how i should proceed. Thanks!
