    Small, worthless update

Finally said "fuck off" to the M50 manifolds, and picked these up on ebay (yeah yeah, bash away; they're the same as the AA ones, just no AA name on them). They were a bitch to get in place, and I'm not entirely sure they did anything, but whatever.

    Great picture, huh? :loco:

How much did they set you back? Any fitment issues? You say you cant feel a difference but can you at least hear a difference? They look great! I might as well get a header setup for my M52 since I need to fab up a complete system anyway.

            $300 shipped.

It takes some caressing and patience to get them past the subframe/body/etc. There's a chance you could get them in place from above if you don't have the a/c line in the way though.

You say you cant feel a difference but can you at least hear a difference?
Sounds much better past 4k. Fairly similar before that.

            They look great!
            Thanks.

            Ray, maybe tomorrow

did they bolt up to rest of the exhaust you have in there?

Nice Permit, what are your thoughts after installing and driving?

                      Worth the money? Power gains?

                          a) They required more exhaust work. The fitment is completely different.
                          b) Worth the money? Meh. Perhaps. Power gains? Not night and day, but there's something there. It's more noticeable since I had M50 manifolds; had they been the M52 ones, I probably would have wasted my money.

I like those manifolds, I've been thinking about them for a while since hearing a blurb about them from the racers on BFC. Jeremy, do they require the exhaust to be hung lower down in the car (i.e. easier to scrape?) Also, do you have to use Treehouse CAB's to fit them?
