On the other hand the diving boards that the e28's have are just plain rude.

The euro spec on the later models have the side markers in between the front wheel and the front door. (mine dosnt, less weight) Maybe just cause they are different, is thats why i like them. I have seen some bumper trim front an rear on ebay, which i was looking at importing to fit on to mine. I think it would be the only US spec car in New Zealand.
na I seen someone with a '87 325es, LHD, diving boards and all

Very few were built in SA, they came in crates, and were built there, known as the 333i.

no wonder you believe oil is a renewable resource and the companies / government are just reading us lies.

                  nice A/F curve...

BMW with a tow hitch, SEXY! Would be funny as hell to see that thing towing another car on a 20 ft trailer, it probably could with that enigine and diff.

what made you go with an auto? long trips or something?

Yup, because cruising on the interstate in 5th gear is mighty tiring on the clutch foot :)

                            Project pod filter

This is my mk1 design in heat sheild design. Spent most of the time i had, on making sure i had a one nice weld(by my opinion) on the air duct. This is not the final design. When other plans are put into action, further mods will happen.

Makes lots if induction noise and bum dyno says alot smoother rise in appilcation of throttle. Maybe +10kw if im lucky. It is as long as the mtec1 steering wheel is wide.

Thats why i have gone to a chrome towball cover for that extra 2mph at the top end.
