    Picked her up Friday!!

I've been driving VW's for the last 14 years and finally decided to try something different. Picked up a 1991 318i from an old man, original owner with all service records since new for 3100$...

When I got the car it was completely stock, had ugly window tint and black pinstripe. Since Friday I have removed the tint and stripe, painted the wheel centers black, installed a cd player and mtech I steering wheel. I ordered a suspension that will be here tomorrow.. So far I'm loving this car.

    Pics..

Is that a heckeblend? I don't think I've ever seen one on an E30.

The body is mint, has one small ding the size of a quarter by the pass rear tail light. Paint was slightly oxidized, but nothing my buffer couldn't take care of.

Yeah, it's a heckblend.. I've never seen one either. Kind of had me confused when I bought the car. Didn't realize they made them for this car!!

I thought about it, the paint is slightly cracked on the spoiler. One of these days when I get bored I'll pull it off to give it a coat of satin black, along with shadowlining the car.

                  Awesome. Welcome to e30 ownership.

Sounds like you’re taking care of things in good order.

                  Cheers!

Yep.. I've been modifying VW's for about 14 years.. I know all the euro goodness.. I've also been following trends on bimmers for years as well. Just never owned one.

What is a heckeblend? The chrome trim on the lower part of the windows?

Looks like a great platform to build on!
