Lift kit installed and Im loving it

So yeah Im sure Ill be flamed horribly for this but the suspension lift is installed and I fucking love it.

Now, its not really a lift kit but I swapped out my H&R cup kit for a set of H&R OE Sports/ Bill HD's. In the process I also replaced my control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and upgraded to M3 CABS. I couldnt be more happy with the final result. The car sits about 1" - 1.5" inches higher but is still lower than stock. The new setup actually rides a little firmer than the cup kit which is probably the new shocks. I love the ride. NE roads are no longer a problem and I no longer have to worry about my oil pan on every bump. The front end is basically brand new and other than the alignment being a little out of whack the car handles like a dream. Slightly more body roll which is to be expected. The m3 cabs make a huge difference on turn in response and I highly recomend the upgrade. Pics to come tomorrow when I can wash and wax the car.

NE roads can be a super bitch!

Next time we will have to make use of that thing you had in your trunk!

Haha, it was awesome being able to make it home without worrying once about bumps. Dont worry, Ill make sure to bring the "item" to the next meet.

Also the wheels are probably going to have to wait. Im a poor bastard now that I had to replace the control arms and tie rods as well. College income and car mods dont really go hand in hand ya know ;)

In all it took 4 days of me fucking around to get it all done. I wasnt really rushing anything though so its all good. Thanks to Scott for the garage and all those who lent a hand on Sat. It was much appreciated. Pics to come when my girlfriend uploads em off her camera.

Im loving the m3 CABS. The turn in response is much improved. I do notice that I feel more little bumps and stuff, but its definately a great upgrade. The new shocks and springs actually feel a bit firmer than the cup kit which is good but the ride is awesome. So nice to not have to worry about every bump, pothole, and frost heave out there.

The M3 CABs, are they from the e30 m3 or e36 m3? Eccentric/offset, samething? Is the price rougly $90 USD?

[QUOTE=FifeDog236]Thanks to Scott for the garage and all those who lent a hand on Sat. QUOTE]

and sunday, and thursday, and friday... :)

Glad it's all together - what a fucking project!

The firmer ride has some to do with the new struts/shocks, but it also has to do with the fact that the H&R's are a firmer spring than the wussy cup kit springs ;) Lovin' the new setup - looks great, and sounds like it performs well.

E36 offsets fit...i have em on my car. I bought mine from bma, the E30 M3 offsets were more expensive than the E36 cab's although both are exactly the same...
