because I live in germany, and the NAZIs run thier inspection deal over here. the car was a 316, now has a 2.5 in it. not worth the money to get all the crap legit on it. everything that is not original on it has to have papers, and costs about 60-150 dollars for each thing.
the inspection runs out in july, but my truck is getting registered this week, so bye bye to it.
unfortunately, every 2 years i end up doing this to a really clean body car. cause the inspection is good for 2 years only.

Yay, i've been dealing with Belgian inspection this week... maybe on the 5th fucking try i'll get her (my brother's VW polo) to go through.... sigh.

plus I am registering this- my summer cruiser. I hate the german TUV!!! but if you have friends in the right places, and enough cash, anything can happen, but it still sux that you cant do what you want--as long as it is SAFE!
just had the airride and rims approved by the germans on this, what an ordeal!

yeah the TUV is very hard I hear. I wish I could throw money at mt suspension and it go away. I did all the legal options, won and still got fucked by the DMV. Great 2K+ dollars spent.
