r3v community input/vote needed on plate filler

Hi all,
Been doing some light exterior mods to my late model, and am wondering if I have built up a sweet looking rear look or have jumped the shark.
Here's the situation:
I scored some mhw tails and paired them with a euro filler for a look that I'm 100% sure is badass. I LOVE IT. (1st photo) A few months later a rare OEM reflector plate filler pops up on r3v for a good price and I'm compelled to see what this would look like. (2nd photo)
Now I'm confused, and come to you. Is this a bold and awesome look, or totally gay. Your input is needed.

Edit: 2nd pic looks like poo. Might look good if your car was red or black.

I do think the first is a little better looking BUT how often do you see that filler ? I would run it just because you don't see it much on other e30.
