Like tomorrow on these yesterday cats.

4300K HIDs and lowered the GC's. The lights are way more blue in person, but to keep the other colours right I had to make them yellowish.

You are seeing my winter Fittipaldi's. New summer wheels are almost done refinishing, shipping in from Germany in the next week or so. I promise to shock and amaze you, be patient.

Looks great as usual. Exactly how many sets of wheels have been on that car while you've owned it?

      Uhhhh...6 sets.

      14" Baskets.
      14" Fittipaldis.
      16" BBS RX.
      17" BBS RS.
      16" Borbet Type E.
      16" ROH.

Besides the stock rims and the winters, I've never owned a set of rims for longer than 2-3 months. It's messed up, I know.

Well, I've had them in for 3 months now, and only been flashed twice. I also then had a really uneven ride height though; only the front GCs were raised for winter, so imagine that rear height but with 1.5" more front space.

I've since lowered the front coilovers, and they're now aimed correctly. I can see a crisp cutoff of the E-code beam pattern on the rear bumpers of cars, for what that's worth. With the intergrated glare sheilds, they're honestly not nearly as bad as the forum banter suggested. I'm keeping them.

I got a massive discount (supplier turned out to be local plus I joined a GB), but their prices are still pretty damn reasonable.

Quality-wise they are excellent, the only other "kit" I even remotely liked was the Xenon Depot one with Phillips ballasts and bulbs, but I don't like their thrid party wiring. Kaixen does everything in-house, and the company is huge. Low failure rates.

And the winter wheels don't even look bad! I think Brew's first E30 many years ago had very similar wheels. Hell of a lot easier to clean, than lets say basketweaves, in the winter.
