Couple of shots of my 318i

I have been visiting this forum for a long time now and have learned alot from all of you and I just wanted to say I am very thankful. My car is by no means a finished project and I do expect flames for some of the stuff that might be seen on this car.
This is just two basic photos nothing special. I had just cleaned the car and wanted to take them for my before and after records. If anyone wants more pics I will get them when I have time.

    Short History:

The car is a 1985 318i 4 door 5 speed. The color is Gazellen Beige which is all original except for the front fenders that the PO had resprayed. My father purchased this car in summer of 2002. He gave it to me as a going away gift in October of 2003. Since then the car has been a constant project and daily driver. Unfortunantly I have no idea what the milage is since the odometer was broke when my dad bought it.
I am not going to make a mod list unless you guys really want to know everything that I have done to it, so just let me know.

Anyway praise or flame away. Like I said it's a constant ongoing project and being poor doesn't help speed up the process :)

Well I have nothing better to do right now so here is the current list of mods. I did all of this by myself except when a friend assisted me in shoe horning the engine in the car.

        Engine:

        84 M20B27 with 100% motronic 1.3 conversion.

Heavly ported/polished 323i "Big Port" cylinder head with all new valvetrain (going on in 3-4 weeks)

M30 AFM with custom cold pipe and K&N cone filter (soon to be replaced with an ITG cone filter)

        Bosch design III 19# injectors.

Recently added an Ignition Solustions Plasma Booster.

        Brakes/Suspension/Drive line:

Complete front/rear disc brake conversion from an 87 325is.

Zimmerman cross drilled rotors all around. Mintex Red Box pads all around.

Racing Dynamics Green springs with bilstein sports.

        3.73LSD from an 87 325i automatic.

        e30 M3 offset CAB's

        Wheels:

        Damani Tech5 57.1 centerbore 25mm offset 17x7

        Interiror:

Nothing special. 325is sport wheel, all black leather seats from an 87 325i with rear headrests. Recently changed the driver seat to a sport seat. Added oil temp and voltage guages, will add O2 guage and oil pressure shortly.

        Exterior:

        Pin stripe delete, Shadowlined trim.

Headlights are Depo projector angel eye's.

        Please keep up the comments!

O man, you should have left this post alone for a while so all of the regulars could come on and flame your little 318i. They probably will anyway. the bastard child of the e30 world. Sounds like you put a lot of work into this. Looks good.

Body looks straight enough, and the paint looks clean, so I can dig that. Not feeling the headlights one bit, nor the black out grill, and wheels like that all just seem kind of funny on a diving board e30.

I thought about waiting. I know how alot of these 318i m10 threads turn out. OMG he put big wheels on a stock 318i and painted his calipers red, etc, etc...

flaming is fine with me. I understand that everyone has different tastes. I am happy with what I have so far and I have a very big list of things yet to do to this car. They will take time like they always do, but hopefully some day the flamers will change their minds.

                Thanks for your feedback,
                Steven

Bumpers are on my get rid of ASAP list. I personally hate them. I am going with a reiger abs kit but I am not sure wich one yet.

I guess... it's your car, and you've really rocked it with the swap and head work, the reard discs, etc. I guess the bumper conversion is on the list and I'd imagine that will solve your front valence...

I just hate the headlights... your poor car looks like... its on x ...that dilated glassy stare... feed it a rolaids!

people don't like the m10? i thought we've seen some pretty gnarly ones here, like a 300hp turbo or something crazy.

those headlights look like homer simpsons eyes when he is in the japanese commercial.

it could beworse...not bad, i think an old 318 would be one of the harder cars to mod and make look better.
