Last weekend we went to the Boonies Bash at Shannonville, ontario. It was AWESOME !!! 2 days of pure fun, party hard the saturday night, everything we wanted. The track was really fast and had a lot of grip, proper for 3rd gear munji :). Here's a couple of pictures and VIDEOS will come up soon !!
I really lost myself at napierville last weekend !! Slowest track around here but you can push the car hard and ride the wall as often as you want as you can see below haha
Also here is a video from one of my friends sr20 S13 chasing me: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152341232303961. Was the begenning of the night on the first layout (also the slowest one), but its a good way to heat you up !! Unfortunately there is no video of him chasing me on the fast layout when it gets more exciting cause as you will see on the end of the video he had some heating issues. Also some video of this weekend at napierville will be coming soon !
It depends,if the m20 had a little more power you could handle 3rd gear too ;)
I'm running 4:10 on my m50 swap w/light flywheel and custom ecu and drifts 3rd gear easily on track ;)
I often use 3rd gear pretty easily, whit good speed and a good clutch it goes really well. Anyway you can't do any fast track if you stay on 2nd gear. If someone tells me he can't do 3rd gear drift with 4.10 or 3.73 m20b25, I'd say there is a serious problem between the seat and the steering wheel.
I did a couple of track sessions with the 4.10 that was on the car when I bought it, and found it a little but too short for the track I went to (St-eustache, Icar, Napierville...). I really liked the 3.73 better. Plus its a medium case !
You're right, the 4.10 is short as shitttt! I have a 4.10 right now and can't stand it.
Probably because finding good E30 parts at a reasonable price in Quebec Province is really tough.
I know a couple of guys/place who have a lot of e30 parts. For exemple, I bought the 3.73 open diff for 80$ 2 weeks ago, wich I think is a fair price even if the case was rusty. If you want Inbox me and I'll tell you a couple of place !! And you surely know some sellers I don't too :P But it's true that e30 parts became pretty rare these days...
This thread kicks ass. Any reason why you're not running a 4.10 diff?

Try Nova Scotia/New Brunswick. We scavenge anything available. I will say I've found some awesome stuff cheap but I'm just lucky and go where other guys don't bother to.
We had a blast at St-Eustache last sunday !! :D Car ran strong all night long, except for a little problem from my fuel expansion tank. Lots of tandem action, but unfortunately, no good video sorry guys....
Replaced my diff, did a rear wheel bearing and installed proper brake pads. As there was no drifting night last week and I wasnt ready 2 weeks ago, we'll go on the track on sunday !!
First drifting night at St-eustache!! Sadly, I blew my diff after 8 run -_- at least I know the car feel a lot better than last year !! I'll pick another 3.73 tomorrow and I'll try to be ready for next weekend
the holy grail of seats.. how and where did you find it
I bought it from a guy who had it in his jdm civic and didn't know what it was obviously. Bought it for 70$. Pretty much the best find I've ever made considering these are really rare !!
