    Meet Shenanigans-my Alpineweiss II Touring.

    This is my Shenanigans.
    Bought about 10 days ago.
It's almost a 100% original, only things changed is the engine, and the Mtech II steering wheel.
It's a 320i, but I'm not sure about the engine yet, MAF says either ETA or 325i engine.
I need to paint the front I know, but the plan is to keep her original on the outside, and make a powerful ETA for it, I have a high kompression ETA I can buy.
    Pictures.

Yes, the guy I bought it from has a Porsche repair shop, and his 17 year old son competes in Porsche cup races with his 650 HP Porsche GT3.
Really nice Guys, got an invitation to come see the son race this summer, with VIP access.

The ETA swap makes perfect sense.
I live in Denmark, where rules on road cars are very strict. The ETA swap is legal, and you can put an I head and make around 155-165 HP all depending on which condition the ETA is in, and weather it's the high or low compression ETA.

Yeah wasn't thinking about that plus fuel cost what $12 a gallon or so. Denmark has E85 as well everywhere too correct?

US our E85 next work is horrible. That being said they want to make our E10 to E15 nationwide which is gonna suck ass. That is rubbish fuel.

        Enjoy the the cup races.

It's not the fuel cost, that makes the rules so strict.
They have a rule about if you swap engines, the new engine must not have more than 20% more than the original one.
It's very hard to get anything road approved here in Denmark, they don't like tuned cars over here.
The Supra for exampel, is not road legal with a single turbo, only with the original twin turbo's.
And it's complicated to get it approved for road use, because you have two systems that has to approve the car, Færdselsstyrelsen and Skat.
Skat only wants to know if the car has a changed identity.
For example a 320i turned into a 325i with brake conversion and all, then you have to pay a fee before the car is useable on the road. (the fee is around 1800 dollars for a 325i change)
Færdselsstyrelsen is a Whole other thing, they are the ones who want to see crash tests on a custom made car, and that's where the 20 % rule comes in.
          It's crazy over here :hitler:
And no E85, that's in Sweden.(I hope it comes to Denmark too)

Very nice! The intake manifold looks like a 320i model to me. It seems plausible that the AFM could have been switched out with a different type at some point. The casting on the block should tell you the displacement.

Did you get the '88 "super eta" motor in Denmark? The one with the high compression? Putting a stock m20b25 head (885 casting) on to that block gets you a nice 8.8:1 compression 2.7l.
