Opinion's needed on my Dinan E30 (no 56k)

I seriously can not decide wtf I want to do with my taillights. I have a major problem with anything amber on cars, I don't know why, I just do. So I did the red-tail painting method (sorry, don't have any pics) and that method annoys me because of the difference in the texture on the light. I'm anal so that's why that method is out. So since I recently blacked out all of my signal's, I thought I should do the same with my tails :dunno Here are the pics... the produce came out very good, it's nice and smooth and shiney too :D Anyways I want to hear your opinion's on what I should do. My "theme" for this car is to have it black/white/little chrome yet very clean. I don't want to change too much visually. Also, I put in the pics of what the blacked out lenses look like when lit up as some had requested.

The 2 tone looks good but the tint looks a little too dark.
    Im now E30less.

that is a clean looking car. if you're looking to change anything, i'd say stick with small touches like: a euro filler would go great with the smoked tails, and maybe a white iS lip with splitter for the front.. but leave the chrome kidneys and window strips

but realistically it looks pretty clean and simple as is

        call it a day.

(looks plenty good as is though)

I'm starting to lean towards that Euro filler. I like the way it looks on White E30s. I'm just thinking I need to lighten up on the darkness of the smoke and let the normal colors show through more.

pull your bulbs from your side markers. tails look a bit too dark imo. even for a white/black themed car.

plate filler, and it will look a lot better.

I agree about the bulbs, but not too concerned because I'm going to get that euro bumper trim. I don't know what to do with this car lol. I'm trying to keep it as original as possible, but I'm a "modder" so it's hard to look at it and not want to change a bunch of shit :( I'm tempted to just completely "restore" it and fix every flaw the car has visually and then be done. Keep a completely stock and clean Dinan E30 Turbo.

That would be cool, to have a nice real dinan turbo. kinda like when people get authentic alpinas and shit, they leave them "stock".

the car def. has potential, but i think you should do more than stock. euro bumper trim will help a ton.

Yeah I'm going to do real minor, OEM kind of stuff. So I think I'll go with red tails, euro trim, euro filler, smiley's, fix my cracked fog lights lenses, stick with the blacked out front turn signals (I hate amber like I said), lip spoiler (not sure which color), and paint the lower portion's of the car that are black to color match the Alpineweiss color. And then I'll put on some BBS style basketweave's for rims in 15". That should still keep the "value" of it and give me the satisfaction I'm looking for.

One question, should I still do Euro Trunk Filler if I do red tails or leave the filler out?

                    ‘Cohesive’

filler plate + smoked tails = more cohesive
with your dark tails in mind, the filler plate becomes a natural suggestion

filler plate + red tails = less cohesive

you’re right. The current tails are a bit on the dark side.. but unless they overly hindered light visibility I’d start putting $ elsewhere.

Filler looks good with any type of tails... BTW, I like the black tails, I'm gonna do the same thing, just not as dark

car looks good. Why not smoke the headlights and foglights while you are at it? I think if you get a darker window tint it would look a little better also.

Just let me know when you want to sell it and let me know when you want to sell the rims :)

Stop painting things and get some suspension on that there!

This may stound stupid coming from me but

Understated mods FTW. LIghten the tint on the lights a hair, maybe an IS lip (make that definately an IS lip), and if you change the wheels something simple (15 or 16).
