No you don't, but excessive noise is not always wanted in a car.

My old insulation got a bit chewed up when I pulled the engine. Plus it was just crumbling into pieces. Although, I'm going all out on this suspension and engine, I still want it to be somewhat streetable. The tally for the front axle to date is $1850.
