I'd rather not come right out and say, but it was in the same range of numbers as in that old FS thread posted above. The BMW guys I know say it was a deal even with the stuff I am having to fix, seems values of cleaner ones have gone up a tad in recent years, no?

No, I think think this place will do just fine. This place is cooler than dot org.
Very much agreed. This place is like the Darkside of BMW forums, if you were ever on that forum.

No worries. Yes cleaner cars are VERY hard to come by it seems and if they do have a clean car they think its worth its weight in gold...

Looks sweet, great color combo. Smoke those headlight & add an is lip & it'll be even meaner looking!

Part of me wants to ditch the Alpina wheels, but i can;t find anything I like better that isn't ridiculous expensive.

Not a fan of smoked lights, but I was thinking of doing the inboard lights or fogs yellow. For some reason the is lip doesn't do enough for me to justify the cost. I gotta get the thing running right before I can think about stuff like that, been fighting this thing for months.

Thanks for the compliments. I claim no responsibility for the car's look, but I've been doing a lot of work cleaning it up and getting it dialed mechanically. It gets a lot of love for a daily with 10-footer paint.
