    1987 325i Vert

Hello r3v, so i bought this 1987 325i vert a few weeks ago for my first little project car. I got the car really cheap and with minor defects. Biggest ones being horrible interior and a blown engine all thanks to the PO over heating it, says the temp gauge went out. Heres some pics:

    Only 148,xxx miles on it

Blown Engine w/o the head on, PO's mechanic left it off when inspecting the block.

Im definitely going to need to look for new interior later down the line

Theres a few cuts in the top from a cat climbing on it, any suggestions on repairing that? (stitch?)

The owner before the PO had installed Momo Steering wheel and shift knob

Heres the new engine, well used engine my dad and me got from pick n pull (m20b25)

Congrats on the new purchase! It has good bones and I'm sure you'll have her up to spec in no time. It'll be fun regardless as soon as it's running.

Welcome aboard! That eBay leather kit would be a good call on your interior.
