Just picked up a Granit E30 sedan, time to build! (S52 Turbo Content)

Just picked up my second E30 today, a 1991 Granit 4 door. Here's some pictures:







Bonus pulled over picture 1 hour after picking the car up:



The car isn't perfect, but for the $1600 I paid I'm happy. It needs new rocker panels and the paint isn't the best but I love the color and the options. It has the factory armrest, maplight, and glass moonroof.

Plans for the car:
- Picking up a turbo s52 setup from another member next weekend
- Want to go with a coilover setup
- Maybe respray if my budget allows

My overall goal is to keep the car looking as stock as possible but while still being able to have some fun on and off the track.

I'll update this thread with some progress pictures!

I like it a lot already as well, I had never seen this color on an e30 before. I didn't even know it was an option until today, I'm glad I found it.

Sadly it is not a manual, but it will be as soon as I pick up this motor setup :up:

I got pulled over for not having plates since I just picked the car up. Nothing serious, just thought it was funny I didn't even own the car for an hour and I was already pulled over once.

Most definitely, it has some pretty bad swirling but I have a friend who does detailing who will definitely be getting his hands on the car after I swap in the motor.

I'm not looking forward to sourcing a moonroof glass pane however, that probably won't be cheap. Apparently it "fell out" while the P/O was driving and exploded on the highway.

Said goodbye to my old wrecked shell


Picked up the new motor


Old motor ready to pull as soon as I have space to put it....


Hopefully I'll have some good pictures of the new motor going in this weekend if all goes according to plan!
