Hello everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself and show off some of the 'before' pics of my new project '88 e30 vert.
I went to go check out the CL ad with pretty low expectations and was very surprised with how clean the body is. It only has a few very small patches of surface rust on the rocker and above the rear license plate. Not bad for a 26 year old car.
Unfortunately, it has a blown head gasket, but for $1000, I'm not too worried. Shortly after, I picked up a wrecked '97 M3 and will be doing an s52 swap in the very near future!
I also had the luck of pulling H&R springs, Eibach sway bars, and biltein shocks off a junk yard car, which did wonders for the stance and ride of my new baby.
I'll get an official build thread going once things got moving along.
