    Hello fellows!

Just want to say hi to everyone!
I just got my hand on a '88 E30 and am planning to restore it. I already did tons of mechanical work to the car, and how it's time for new paint job and exterior modification :)

I picked up this car from LA 5 months ago with not so great condition, but I somehow got hooked and decided to get it anyway. So far I had:
    - Replace transmission
    - Redo all control arm and bushings
    - Replace steering rack
    - New Clutch
    - New swift bushing
    - New cat
    - Change Timing belt / water pump,etc.
    - Fix A/C and recharge

On top of that I had added
    - Coilover
    - 19lb injectors
    - Fuel pressure regulator
    - Replace ECU (from 153 to 173 with MarkD 19lb)
    - New fuel pump
    - 120A alternator
    - M30 AFM with CAI

It runs a lot better now, and it's time to give him a new paint job + new top + late E30 bumpers update.
I look forward to join local BMW meet in the near future.:D

Wow, nice intro. Looks like a nice car, welcome! Pop by the NorCal General chat in the California specific section, the guys in there are nice and it's a good place to find out about local meets.

I believe he meant the shifter bushings.

              Yup....thanks for the clarification.
Turns out the previous owner paint the car with a lighter silver color, which I don't want to keep (I believe stock silver is better).
Also, I will need to order a pair of fog since the one that comes with conversion is broken. I will tint that to yellow afterward.
I am also getting some clear signal + marker. I really look forward to give the car a new look :)

                Body work done :)

Finally done with the body work!
The only bad thing is they yanked the signla light wire out, so I have to check the wiring to get the signal light working again.
Next would be exhaust (tip), rear seat replacement, and top replacement.
                It's a long journey, but a happy one :)
