Most likely this weekend. I'm still back and forth about whether I'm going to Bimmerfest. If I went it'd just be for the day and I'd wanna find a co-pilot

I wish I could go lol but I'm not about to drive this thing that far. I'm swapping my rear end Thursday night after work for the new/painted 293lsd so that's not a concern, but my center support bearing is a tad squeaky. I just changed it, so I know its not bad but I might've put too much/little of a preload. Or it could just need some superlube. It looked a little dry when I got it out of the box but my uncle advised me to wait it out lol

So we banned 5-Toes for rusting his hood, but we jump on the love wagon for this guy?

No offense OP; your car is clean, I'd love to pick up an early henna this clean as a family project/car for my new driver little brother, but I'm not a fan of the #yolo420stancebroDGAF you have going on. My first hood on my car was rusted to crap and peeling, but I kept it how it was.

Regardless, I like a majority of it. Keep on keeping on

thanks dude. I appreciate the feedback. My hood actually has rust holes in it from before I stripped it. I found a nice henna hood on craiglist I'm hoping to work out a deal for. The car has some rust/needs a henna respray. When I can afford that it'll be corrected. This was kind of a "in the mean time" ordeal

I figured. I'll admit, I was tempted to do the same, but I refrained from it.

Sounds like a long time family project in the making. I'm a fan.

                      Needs chrome kidneys.

                      But other than that

                        hey guys..

my 364lsd was on its way out, practically blown. whiny as all hell.

I picked up a nice low mileage 96xxxmiles 293lsd. I changed the fluids, cleaned up and sprayed it. installed it a few a days ago.

Car is slow off the line, but holy crap does it move once shes going.

I did this out of preparation for a turbo im piecing together, so ill be able to actually get the power on the ground. here is the rear, and installed

just swapped out my blown 364lsd for a 293lsd in prep for a turbo!

                          awesome.

can't wait to see more progress on the turbo front.

                            howdy y'all lol

still been piecing together my turbo build. what im missing is a downpipe, and the oil feed/drain lines and a new oil pan and a way to delete the oil cooler (leaky all over) while keeping the ability to "t" off for the feed... so any input would be great.

heres what i did this weekend...
