I made the plunge again.... E30 content

Just sold my alpine white 96 328i and am picking up this beauty its a 89 325is with 110-115k on it cause the old odo went out around 106 so its a guess. I bought it for 2,500 which is a fair price for the work done to it. And how clean the car is mechanically.

Here's the list of things done to it all from the previous owner

I'm selling my 1989 BMW 325is 5-speed. It is in need of some bodywork, but the engine/transmission/suspension is all good. I recently had the timing belt, water pump, A/C belt, serpentine belt, Power Steering belt, cap and rotor all replaced, along with the valve cover gasket. I also had the valves adjusted. The M20B25 motor runs strong, and the clutch has no slippage. The Getrag transmission is solid, and all gears pull strongly. Around 110k miles on the engine and chassis. It has a tan Sport interior, 5 basketweave wheels (full-size spare in the trunk) along with power windows, power sunroof. Tires are 80% or so. I had the rust under the battery tray repaired professionally, and had a new tail panel installed as well (old one had some rust). I have many parts for the vehicle. Here's a list of some of the parts:

Brand new OEM replacement tail panel (installed professionally)
    Reconditioned headlights
Reconditioned center caps with new roundels
Bavarian Autosport Ultimate brake rotors (front and rear)
    Brake lining sensors
    New battery (6/13)
Reconditioned Gauge cluster w/ carbon fiber bezel
    Reconditioned Steering wheel (3-spoke OEM)
    Z3 short shifter (not installed)
Custom shift boot/ebrake boot (black leather with red stitching)
Central locking wiring harnesses for both doors
    Rear Strut bar
Replacement trunk lid with Hartge spoiler
Bentley Manual (excellent repair and service manual for e30s)
    Black carpet
    Black rear door cards

    and now for pics!!!

as you can see it needs some cosmetic TLC but I figure a weekend of some paint work and it will be a awesome DD.

    Work to be done
    replace the door harness
    replace blower motor
    recharge a/c
wire up a good radio and some speakers
paint the bumpers, skirts, tailpanel, and swap the zinno fender for a nice crisp Schwarz one.

one cool thing about is its color name is my familys last name haha

Looks like a good buy for $2500. The interior looks awesome and as long as it runs good, all it needs is the couple misc things and paint! Good find man

I always support removal of an e36. And I have a thing for Schwarz (read: all) e30s.

Thanks I'm hoping by the end of this weekend maybe next it will look like a different car. I'm figuring 600 bucks at the most and this will be a awesome dd. Eventually down the road it will get stripped and repainted an restored. Finishing the other e30 first.
