Great story, I found mine on Auto trader 15yrs ago for $5000, was overheated but easily fixed, drove it for 6 months till the engine blew for good, now I'm getting for a full restore like your doing, motors done getting ready to pull it out for a detail, great updates, now I need to fine some RS's too

It's just kind of hard to miss an old M3 in someones driveway when I've had 5 E30's. Good luck with your build.

It was uncovered in the fall (maybe by wind?). Don't worry, I never stepped foot on your property ;) By the way, I live in the neighborhood as well.
I saw you tuning your E46 one day and almost introduced myself but I was in a rush and you seemed busy with the other M3.1989 325i Cabriolet Auto

[QUOTE=Tippey764;4353387]Was he sketchy or cool about it?
well, he was rolling by and my wife and kids and the neighbor were all out front, he drove off and I came driving up in my 11sec Nova, they pointed him out so I pulled up next to him, I think he was a little freak at first, but he gave me his card and said if I wanted to sell it give him a call, he looked all of 17,88 M3 Lachsliber glass top, 90 IS project,

My brothers buddy works at Fitzgerald in their autobody shop. We basically prep all the parts and bring them to him to paint them in their facilities. We just pay his buddy for labor + materials. The labor is of course much cheaper since hes our friend and we're doing a lot of the prep work.
