my new (preowned) bmw 325ix (new to forum

Hey guys, im new here and just bought my first e30 last week a 1989 325ix;D it needs some work and has some issues, but i'm excited to finally own one as i have been looking for a couple of years for one but im too cheap ahah. I joined here cause i figured this is a great place to see how others have dealt with common issues and where i can find "hard to find parts" let me know what you think (yes i tried to fit all my toys in one pic:nice:), known issues on the car are locks don't work, awd doesnt work, drivers seat is ripped, needs paint-looked way worse but i did a quick polish and it came out ok, got it for a great deal as there basically no rust on the car, just a small dime bit on drivers fender

            Nice looking iX! Looks clean.

What's going on with the AWD system? Any idea/leads as to why it's not working?

haha one of my complaints was that the car is red (didnt want another red car) and the fact it's automatic, the awd doesn't work since the viscous coupling is gone (failed the jack test), will pull transfer case tomorrow. And get it ready for replacement WHEN i find one

yeah it is the one from craigslist, owner had another car and wanted to sell asap as I think his landlord was giving him shit also money pit for him since he owned it for 6 months and timing belt snapped on him so he replaced wp,head, stat, and belt +wires and plugs and some hoses I think
