I bought a OEM E36 wind deflector on EBAY that needs a custom bracket to make it fit perfectly but it looks ok now since its all OEM on the car at the moment so it not flush all the way on the back seat . I have a friend who is a machinist that will make a custom bracket for the deflector . :)

BMW made one for the e30 cab that fits perfectly. There is also an aftermarket one for the e30.
I hope you did not pay much for the e36 one.

Its almost impossible to find a OEM E30 , I try to get a OEM E30 . I had no luck finding one at all so I found the E36 on Ebay . :)

I didn't know they were that hard to find now. When I had that pic taken of my car, I had three of them.

How much are you looking to spend? A friend has one and he shouldn't have bought it as he just leaves his hardtop on 24/7. Has a OEM carrying case

I have an 88, do you need a kit to make these fit? I'm looking for an OEM one as well.

No I going to make custom brackets for the rear and the front of the wind deflector since I have a friend who is a machinst and will make custom brackets so the rear of the deflector will fit flush to the rear seats like a oem e30 wind deflector . The oem wind deflector is very very hard to find .

89$ plus $7 shipping. I have heard these fit really well for a non-bmw part.

OEM wind deflector 82-1-29-401-216 $571.16 according to Real OEM
Turner lists at $525.95, but who knows if they can actually get one.

You can occasionally find one on Ebay or Ebay.de for around $350 before shipping.

Though it's not as perfect as the OEM, for $90, the Raceland one fits good enough and works really well. I've had mine for like 2 years and no complaints.

If you can get an E36 deflector to fit for less than above, go for it!
